Dennis Luker Launches New Video For Members
January 31, 2013
Focus on God’s Work
The home office has begun a new monthly information video for the United Church of God membership titled: Focus on God’s Work. Dennis Luker, president, asked Victor Kubik to present the inaugural video at the weekly staff meeting on Monday morning.
The plan is for various managers and employees to give a report about their area of responsibility that may be of particular interest to our congregations. Pastors are asked to make the video links available to our membership, and most videos will be suitable to play in the sermonette timeslot at Sabbath services.
Focus on God’s Work has it’s own menu selection on the member’s website under the “resources” tab at members.ucg.org/content/focus-gods-work. This is where a new video will be posted each month, and we’ll also endeavor to announce them here at Inside United: Realtime.
Victor Kubik, the first presenter in this new series, gives an inspiring report about the United Church of God in south-central and southern Africa. Below is the video from this past Monday morning:
Please feel free to download this and future presentations to get a monthly update on the work being done by various departments in the Church to preach the gospel and prepare a people.

Excellent! This is a great idea. This will be a good way for us to come together, even though we are all scattered throughout the world.

Really enjoyed this. God is working worldwide. Do we have any churches in India or China. Apparently in China christianity is exploding… I love the idea of getting to know more of the behind the work operations. It enables us to pray more specifically.
Great Work.

Great video. I went to Zimbabwe for the Feast in 2011 on my own as a single young woman and came back alive and healthy (with no mossie bites)! The brethren there really appreciate having visitors, as they rarely have the opportunity to do so.

Really appreciate this forum, big time! Very much appreciated Mr. Kubik’s assessment of the Church in Southern Africa. We need to know more about our family all over the world. It is very detrimental to not communicate this vital information about our family all over the world. We love them dearly and they need to know about our love for them immensely as well as intensely! We need to hear their progress and encourage them all the more continually! Great venue! Let’s make this a part of the work to communicate to each other more effectively! We need to lead this program of love so that others really know that we say what we mean and mean what we say! Thank you again! This is an encourage venture for us all.

Thank you for producing this. Makes giving prayers for our brethren there much easier. Very inspiring to see God’s hand working around the world.

Perhaps I have overlooked the obvious, but where can I find the downloadable link in order to record it for Sabbath Services?
Thanks,

Bob, the best option is to view it on YouTube at http://youtu.be/z6Yjq2VK5ds and then use a free tool like keepvid.com to download it to your computer that way.
All the best.
