United Youth Camps Winter Camp 2011 is fully operational and eagerly waiting for camper and staff applications! We have a beautiful new camp location in southeastern Wisconsin situated on 600 acres of rolling hills, woods, open fields and on a bluff overlooking a scenic 60-acre lake.
Activities planned include cross-country skiing, tubing, winter field sports, broomball, horseback riding, arts and crafts, winter wilderness survival skills, Christian living classes and a special Bible class called “Bible Super Heroes.” Dance class will feature additional group dance instruction to add to the fun and learning of Camp.
To facilitate participation in the Winter Family Weekend in Cincinnati, Winter Camp starts with camper arrivals on the morning of Tuesday, December 27. This would allow a family to attend the main weekend events at the WFW, then Winter Camp is only seven hours away.
Additionally, the new camp location allows us to provide shuttle service for campers and staff flying into the Chicago airports (which should make the airline tickets less expensive than before).
The United Church of God Winter camp offers a wonderful opportunity for teen campers to build close friendships, learn a lot about God, the Bible and serving others. Plan now to join us for the fellowship, fun, laughter and learning of Winter Camp!
Camper and staff applications are ready and waiting for you at uyc.ucg.org. The cost is reasonable, the rewards are great. Receiving your applications very soon will help tremendously with planning.
Winter Camp director Randy Stiver can be reached with questions at email@example.com or at (513) 248-1466. Or you can contact assistant camp director Dan Dowd at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (262) 247-0428.

We have arranged for the Great Wolf Lodge to hold 200 rooms for us for the nights of December 23 through the 26th—at a great rate far below the retail cost of the room. Initially we opened reservations only for those choosing to stay all four nights. Those who wish to stay all four nights have to make their reservations by October 30 before we open the reservations for individual nights on November 1.
So, if you wish to stay all four nights, please make your reservations right away to avoid not having all four nights available to you. Go on line to wfw.ucg.org to make your reservation.
You need to make your reservations soon to ensure having a room at the Lodge. You will also note at our website that King’s Island Resort is also available for you to contact directly and reserve your rooms there as well.
We look forward to sharing this special WFW with you in Cincinnati area.
See you in December!

What do you fill your days with? How do you focus your time and attention?
Give priority to the things that matter. Think thoughts that are godly, good and righteous. And boldly serve God and his people. Life is but a flicker. Make each day the product of limited time well spent. Like words written in the sand, our time is finite.

Please remember to register online if you are planning to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge all four nights of the Winter Family Weekend, arriving December 23 and departing December 27. We plan to open the reservations for those staying fewer than four nights shortly after the Feast.
Payment is in advance since the United Church of God is getting such a great rate for the Lodge. We have a cutoff date of November 28, after which any of the 200 rooms not booked will be given back to the hotel for the regular price.
So, if you’re planning to attend and want to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge, please check online at wfw.ucg.org and click “register online.” We look forward to a wonderful experience with you at the 2011 Winter Family Weekend in the Cincinnati area.
