The Resurrection and Christ In You

April 7, 2014

The Cincinnati East, Ohio, congregation of the United Church of God is continuing its bi-weekly Bible study Wednesday night, April 9. The study continues at the time of 7 p.m. EDT and is available live via webcast.

Darris McNeely, a presenter on Beyond Today television, will be continuing this six-part series in preparation for the Passover with the topic, “The Resurrection: Christ In You.”

In Part 6 of Six Steps to Passover Mr. McNeely will show the resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to the faith and life of a Christian. The apostle Paul tells us “if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty…and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:14-17). After three days and three nights in the grave Christ was resurrected on the third day of Unleavened Bread. As we examine ourselves and “keep the feast” let us be sure that Christ is in us. This study will help you prepare to effectively “keep the feast.”

  1. United Church of God is doing the job of feeding the flock. This was a great series in preparation for the Passover season & Days of Unleavened Bread. There will come a day that we won’t have the “luxury” to hear the word so freely. Take advantage of our opportunities while the door is still open. Thank you for your hard work and for putting this series together.
