  1. Dear Mr Darris McNeely I am very much a listner of your solid wisdom and understanding as you unfold truth and understanding from Jesus Christ —The word of God. Please forgive my lack of expressing thanksgiving till I discover what, seems to me, to be a mistake or lack of reserch. In about 1949 a woman taught, from the Bible, in a Seventh Day Adventist church, —kind of like a sermonett, that The letter From Elijah to King Jehoram was written and sent 12 years after he was carried away in the Charriot from heaven. Mr Armstrong, in a booklet, in the early 60s, showed the the same value. A study of the kings of Israel and Juda who reigned from the time Elijah was carried away till the time he sent the letter was 12 years. Mr Armstrong used it to show that the scripture that says that nobody has ever gone up to heaven is also a true statement. Mr McNeely I suspect that this is probably the fourty eleventh email that you have recieved on this matter. I don’t intend to take a lot of your time. I deeply apreciate The Work you are doing and the cooperative team and teams that all work so well to do the Work of God—in THE UNITED CHURCH of GOD. Elmer Salmon

    • Elmer,

Thank you for taking the time to write. I am aware of the reference to the letter of Elijah you mention. I just did not have the time in last night’s study to fully go into the Elijah subject. This will make a good study at another time and perhaps we can do that.

      Take care….Darris

    • Larry, maybe we can not prove either. You may have to discern that question for yourself.
