Webcast: Wednesday Night Bible Study

April 13, 2011

The Cincinnati East, Ohio, congregation of the United Church of God is holding it’s sixth Bible study on the book of Acts this evening. It begins at 7:30 p.m. EDT and is available live via webcast.

Acts chapter 8, with the accounts of Simon the sorcerer and Philip and the eunuch, will be the topics of discussion. Presenters tonight are Gary Antion and Peter Eddington.

You can view archived copies of the first five studies by Gary Antion, Peter Eddington, Steve Myers and Randy Stiver. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the webcast page to listen to the first four presentations.

Please plan to join us online with hundreds of brethren from around the world at this Bible study. The book of Acts is a fascinating study into the early years of the Church of God.

  2. I do appreciate the material you supply in the limited time for these Acts Bible Studys. Acts 8th chapter tells the nariative of Simon Magus one of the origional founders of Gnostic Christainity. Please connect what went on in the early Church of God and “How- it- affects- God’s- Church- today”! The book of Jude addresses gnostoism on their own turf condemning their presious lawless grace and calls their knowledge brute instinc. Rev. 2&3 describes this as something God hates. Gnostic Christainity always seeks to lord it over compliant laity by standing in the temple area in the ruins of the torn veil infront of the holy of holies saying we are incharge of Gods Church! A Mystery of Lawlessness. Nothing new under the sun.. YES!
