Shocked Again

September 1, 2010

World Net Daily executive news editor, Joe Kovacs, was interviewed in our March-April 2010 issue of the Good News magazine about his book, Shocked By the Bible.

On August 6, Mr. Kovacs gave his first Shocked By the Bible event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hundreds of attendees turned out to hear about some of the astonishing facts most people have not been told about the Bible.

World Net Daily says: “”Shocked by the Bible,” published by top Christian publisher Thomas Nelson, hit the No. 1 spot in three categories on Amazon.com upon its release in September 2008. It is now in its seventh printing, and has been translated into Russian and Korean.”

Make sure you’ve read the Good News magazine interview with Mr. Kovacs, and catch the WND report about his live event: “Bible Shocker: ‘Just read the words on the page.'”

  1. Phew! I read that headline and thought “Oh No!” not more shocking news from “my” church. I am relieved to see that it isn’t that. I keep thinking we’ll buy this book, and I’d love to be in the audience when he speaks. Of course I don’t know everything that the Bible teaches, but I’ve never let that keep me from trying. My faith in GOD is very strong, but men are men and really are “at war” inside them-selves most of the time. We can only pray and hope that when all is said and done, GOD’S people will still be together, UNITED in HIS CAUSE.

  3. We are all thankful for Joe Kovacs opertunity to teach what the Bible actually says. Perhaps Joe is going “Where no “Church of God” has gone before”? Was it Winston Churchhill or HWA? that said. “When most men stumble over the truth, most pick themselves up and continue as if nothing ever happened”. The Sabbath as is taught in the scriptures is often received when biblical truth is revealed…and then rejected when some preacher said it has been changed to Sunday. Both directions are the truth of the scriptures. The fact that Joe Kovacs is STILL ALIVE! and not among dead ancients quoted such as Philo,Josephus or Tiglathpileser is a step forward by the Church of God to honor those still living not under our corporate banner. The Church’s of God all quote sages of past ages. Most were non- belivers, pagan, evil, immorial and are held in great esteam as if their writing equal that of Christ, Peter or Paul! Living modern sages today are dismissed today if they are other than “our Church banner” I am convinced Churches quote ancients. They won’t feather other corporate “Church of God” nests who are also of God and converted. Is this asking too much? I would hope bridges would be built and not the old bluegrass tune “Someone did someone wrong” song sung for eternity.Joe Kovacs is also doing a work to follow up on any calling “God the Father” does. God does his work and the ministry or whom ever God decrees do a work.Keep up the good work. Think BIG!
