Council Thanks Outgoing Treasurer

August 11, 2010

MILFORD, OHIO — Before the close of the August 2010 Council of Elders meetings today, chairman Melvin Rhodes made a presentation to the outgoing treasurer, Jason Lovelady.

With the entire Council present and numerous guests in the room, Mr. Rhodes thanked Mr. Lovelady on behalf of the Council for his service to the Church and presented him and his wife, Wendy, with a gift of thanks.

Mr. Lovelady’s term as treasurer ends today, Wednesday August 11, and incoming treasurer and Financial Services operation manager, Aaron Dean, will pick up the reins tomorrow, Thursday, August 12. There will be a period of overlap where Jason will help Aaron transition into the job. The Lovelady’s last day of work with UCGIA will be Friday, September 17.

Aaron and Michelle Dean have already picked out a possible home to rent in the Cincinnati area, and will make their moving plans very shortly. A smooth transition from one treasurer to the next was encouraging to witness.

  4. I also thank the Loveladys for their service, but was this all that we will be hearing from the meetings? Was everything else in executive session? I was hoping that there would be positive decisions for all to work together and stop this tearing apart of the Church?

  5. I had made a comment on the subject at hand and it was not in bitterness just an honest comment and it was taken off,it looks very pollitical,I like to see how members view the conditions on both sides, but if its one basic view it seems dishonest,I know mr. lovelady, a nice individual.ron yost

  6. I was wondering why the change at treasurer? Are the Lovelady’s moving on to another job? Seemed like a pretty short stint in the office.
