Could we see the doctrine committee report too?
Mr. Blackwell, who delivered the presentation for the Doctrine Committee, asked that his report not be recorded.
What is the reasoning for Mr. Blackwell not wanting his report recorded?
I would want to know why anything at all is being hidden?
Doesn’t his resignation speak for itself?
If open, honest and frothright communication was his purpose, then wouldn’t he have wanted his report recorded?
If his desire was to state the truth about his report to others after the fact and document the Council’s response, wouldn’t he have wanted it to be recorded?
If he wanted to make sure that the Council could not twist what he stated and prove what he said to others, wouldn’t he have wanted it to be recorded?
Since those three issues were not his purpose, why didn’t he want it recorded?
Would it be possible to have written copies of the reports and not just the video?
Yes Ruth, written reports will be available in a day or so.
I would like to view the video Report on Latin America by Mr. Seiglie. Would you tell me when that is available for viewing?
Good to see Mr. Luker. He does look very tired, I hope he is in good health.
It is sad that he was put in the middle of this crisis without time enough to truly review and assess for himself what the Council has stated in the ABC Q & A session began to take shape from as far back as 2007/8. Perhaps his signature should not have been on many of the early letters to us members.Perhaps his very first video message should not have shown bias to any particular angle except the work of God.
When will we get the ruling from the Council of Elders on the Sabbath Issue?
Thanks,
Jason
